Friends of the Bosler Memorial Library cookbook. You will find many savory Recipes collected from Carlisle's most creative cooks. A hard back book with many wonderful and delicious recipes in a very colorful and pleasing display. Great for a hostess gift or birthday, Christmas, wedding shower etc. Pick one up at the library for just $5.00.
Wreaths Across America
Remember, Honor, Teach.
Once again, the Friends of the Bosler Memorial Library will participate in the Wreaths Across America (WAA) project. This project not only raises money for the Library but also honors veterans.
The Mission of Wreaths Across America is:
Remember – The Fallen Honor – Those Who Serve
Teach – Future Generations About the Cost of Freedom
This mission is carried out in part by placing wreaths on veterans’ graves and having simultaneous ceremonies at over 500 locations in the USA and 24 offshore sites. This year Wreaths Across America day is December 15, 2018.Our location is Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA. All are invited to attend this very moving ceremony and help place wreaths if you wish.
Each wreath sponsorship is $15. Of that, the Friends of the Bosler Memorial Library receives $5. We will have the Wreath Sponsorship Form available in the Bookery and in the Library beginning Sept. 24, 2018.
Forms must be returned to Linkey Green by November 23, 2018.
